Whodis?

glennis forester mcmurray was born and raised in picturesque durango, co at 6,500 feet above sea level. that’s probably why she’s always associated more with owls than with guppies. she moved to new york city just after her 18th birthday to reside with a 93-year-old french woman on the upper west side. that was short-lived (no pun intended - she was alive when glennis left her) and glennis soon found herself living in picturesque jersey city, nj. she survived on her wits, her determination and a wink and a smile. she had to survive on those things because she was super broke.

glennis grew up poor. birthdays was the worst days now she sips champagne when she’s thirstay. the point is - you should feel sorry for glennis. no! sorry. the point is - glennis knows the value of a dollar. no! sorry again. the point is - there is no point. she just really likes quoting that big papa song.

glennis enjoys old movies and once asked her father why all the people in old movies have black roommates. and speaking of old, glennis was named after chuck yeager’s plane: the glamorous glennis. another reason she associates with air more than water. (glennis hates baths)

glennis lives in williamsburg, brooklyn with her

boyfriend and their plant, robert.

oh, and one time glennis burst a blood vessel

in her right eyeball while singing and sometimes

she can still see blood floating around in there.
